Snow-cannon service tender cancelled — ZOI'84: the season is not at risk
The Supersnow bid arrived after the deadline, so the procedure was cancelled. Director Admir Bukva says preventive servicing continues and a new tender is being prepared.
KJP ZOI'84 has cancelled the public procurement for servicing the existing Supersnow artificial snowmaking system on Bjelašnica. The tender was published on 11 September 2026 with a bid deadline of 8 October at 2 pm. Supersnow S.A. submitted its bid the same day but after the deadline, so under the Public Procurement Act it was returned unopened. With no bid received on time, the procedure was cancelled.
General manager Admir Bukva explained that the cancellation does not mean the service has been called off or that maintenance has stopped. Preventive servicing of the Supersnow system, he said, continues as planned using spare parts and equipment bought earlier, and a new tender — for regular maintenance and rapid repairs over the next two years — is already being prepared. According to him, the cancellation does not put the ski season at risk.
